Antisocial Personality Disorder, in belief I have it.?
I’m only 15 turning 16 on September 17th. I have all the symptoms and I’ve believe it or not been drinking more than I should be. I only drink rum, vodka and wine. I mix the rum and vodka with other drinks, won’t drink it straight. I don’t feel any remorse for any of my actions. I think about doing it and have the feeling, yet when I do something bad I don’t feel that I did something wrong. I don’t feel respect for anyone to be honest. I don’t express or have many feelings. I’m friends with a majority of people, not a total social outcast. I’m always craving to do drugs, I haven’t touched any yet. Other than a few cigars. Any help on what I should do? My mom tries to help and she knows I have it for sure, but I just can’t talk to her without fear of getting in trouble.
You sound sociopathic, not antisocial. Huge difference. Sociopaths tend to be remorseless and to abuse drugs and alcohol in order to feel a rush that they can’t gain from themselves or the people around them. Being antisocial is more just the dislike of being around people. The two can show the same symptoms. The only sure way to know is to have an actual doctor evaluate your state of mind.
